Claude and Claude Code

The AI Connector works in Claude (on the web at claude.ai, Claude Desktop and Claude Cowork) and in Claude Code. You can follow the steps below, or send Claude the link to the connector skill and ask it to set up the Quiq connector. It walks you through the steps and can do many of them for you.

Before you start

You need:

  • A Quiq admin login.
  • Your Quiq web address, for example yourcompany.goquiq.com. Use the address you sign in with; some addresses redirect to another one, and the connector works with either.

What your IT team may need to allow

Claude on the web, Claude Desktop and Claude Cowork run commands in a cloud workspace. If your organization limits that workspace's network access, an admin of your Claude organization (usually IT, not your Quiq admin) may need to add *.goquiq.com to the organization's list of allowed domains.

Claude Code runs on your computer, so it needs no change.

Set up

  1. Download the connector skill.

  2. Add the skill. For details, see Anthropic's Use skills in Claude and Claude Code skills documentation.

    • Claude on the web, Desktop and Cowork: under Settings > Capabilities, check that Code execution and file creation is on. Then go to Settings > Skills, choose Upload a skill, select the file you downloaded, and click Upload. Import the file; don't paste its text.
    • Claude Code: create a folder named quiq-login in ~/.claude/skills/ and save the file in it as SKILL.md. Skills you upload in Claude also appear in Claude Code when you sign in with the same account.

On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner can also add the skill for everyone in the organization.

  3. Click Try in chat on the skill, or type /quiq-login in a new chat, and ask Claude to connect your Quiq account. It asks for your Quiq web address, then gives you an Approve Quiq access link. Open it, sign in to Quiq, choose what Claude can access, and click Approve. In Claude Code, the connector runs on Node.js; if your computer doesn't have it, Claude helps you install it.

Then ask your first question. See AI Connector Tips & Examples for ideas.
